How is your country doing in the Olympics? We all know that the Olympic success is down to three factors: “population size, economic might and past performance”. But what would happen if the Olympic medals were re-ranked based on other factors? Well, Google Trends thought about that and has put together a new ranking. Meanwhile, we also had a not so humble proposal where we might have mentioned how we want to put our technology to the test on the next olympics. Make sure you have a read!
Sports Mining? Play2Earn? Gamifying Sports? Yeah, we had it all when we partnered with Polygon to make our dreams come true
We are currently the first ones ever to bring Sports Mining to the table: a concept that will allow our users to earn while playing but also when they’re not. It combines Play2Earn, where players earn when playing, with Staking, a way of earning while the tokens are parked (like a bank deposit when you earn some interest rate when you’re not moving your money around).
We believe that the future of sports is now. And the future is Play2Earn.
At dotmoovs, if a player wants to waive their hand in an NFT or they need it in order to enter a specific tournament, they’ll have to work their butts off.
And that’s why we brought our good friends at Polygon along. With their help making fast processing microtransactions and with fees as low as possible, we’ll be able to build our NFT Marketplace where users will be able to buy, sell or trade NFTs. In a nutshell, NFTs can be stored, displayed, traded, and in some cases minted (created). Think Amazon or eBay for digital collectibles.

Now was time to pay our debt and release the First Sports AI NFT in the World and give it to our #MOOVEURO Champion!
Exergames sound like a good name for a novel, but they have been around for ages
Artificial intelligence is still barely used at all for exergames, which still rely mostly on hardware to measure performance. There are exceptions, of course, but that’s where dotmoovs comes in. Oh…You don’t know what Exergames are? Fear not, we did a whole article about it!
We have written recently about how AI could completely revolutionise the way sports are refereed by using technology to analyse what’s happening on the pitch/court/etc. That very same technology can be used at home, to read the movements and performance of gamers engaging in exercise.
