Important update regarding $MOOV token: Multichain Bridge operations ceased

Dear community, as many of you know, the $MOOV token has been available on the Ethereum network, the BNB Chain, and Polygon. We initially chose Multichain as the bridge provider to facilitate the seamless transfer of tokens between the Ethereum network and the BNB Chain. The adoption of Multichain’s bridge was rapid and widely supported by major players in the market.

What happened to Multichain?

Multichain has recently ceased all its operations. This decision was not due to a hack, as initially reported, but rather an interaction with Chinese authorities. Fortunately, the bridge handling $MOOV was not directly affected, and the tokens stored in its vault remain secure.

What’s the implication for $MOOV holders?

The discontinuation of Multichain has significant implications for $MOOV token holders. The bridge is now unresponsive, and users can no longer move their tokens between the Ethereum and BNB Chain networks. For the time being, holders can only interact, stake, or sell their tokens on the chain they currently possess them.

We want to assure you that we are actively addressing this situation and are exploring all available options. Our team is in close communication with other projects and exchanges that have been impacted, and we are diligently working toward a solution.

While we work to find a solution, we urge all $MOOV token holders to refrain from attempting to bridge tokens using the now-ceased Multichain platform. Doing so might result in tokens getting stuck in transactions, and recovery might not be possible.

Additionally, we want to bring to your attention that some users might have previously granted Multichain permission to interact with their assets. If you suspect you have granted such permissions, we advise you to check and revoke access as soon as possible.
