Presenting a new partnership, scaling dotmoovs
dotmoovs wants to allow people to interact with each other, to challenge one another in their favourite sports and to improve their skills while doing it. dotmoovs is powered by blockchain and a state-of-the-art AI system to analyse videos of players performing sports challenges, allowing athletes of all skill levels to monetize their capabilities, earning $MOOVs and NFTs.
We are now presenting a new partnership: Polygon. Formerly known as Matic Network, this protocol and framework is building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks, aggregating scalable solutions on Ethereum supporting a multi-chain Ethereum ecosystem.
By exploring Polygon’s platform, dotmoovs will benefit from the scalability power that gives our rewards in NFTs a more seamless transactional experience. With no more networking clogging and lag we believe this could attract a much wider audience of sports and NFT enthusiasts — a real-time NFT gamification.
Polygon combines the best of Ethereum and sovereign blockchains into a full-fledged multi-chain system. It solves pain points associated with Blockchains, like high gas fees and slow speeds, without sacrificing on security. This multi-chain system is akin to other ones such as Polkadot, Cosmos, Avalanche etc, but with at least three major upsides:
- It is able to fully benefit from Ethereum’s network effects
- It is inherently more secure
- It is more open and powerful
Many projects are exploring Ethereum-compatible blockchains as a way to mitigate these limitations while still leveraging Ethereum’s thriving ecosystem.
